Our SchoolsWork project has been running since January 2007. We work predominantly in Holywell High School where we run a drop-in facility one lunch time a week for the young people. We also take regular R.E lessons on the Christian faith in order to help the young people see a real example of Christianity and challenge their beliefs and morals. Our input has already proved to be an asset to the school as we are significantly contributing to the spiritual development of the pupils. This work also supports our StreetWork project as we are working with many of the same young people on the streets as in school.

We have recently been involved in taking R.E lessons in Flint High School and we are looking to forge stronger links with other local schools in the near future. We believe that being involved in the life of the local schools is a great opportunity to offer support to young people, especially those who are vulnerable. Since working in the schools we have had the opportunity to give support and advice to many young people facing difficult situations and offer a fresh and relevant perspective on the Christian Faith.
